Moonlet Mobile App & Zilliqa 2.0 Transition

The transition to Zilliqa 2.0 is a major upgrade for the ecosystem. As part of this change, Moonlet will no longer support Zilliqa 2.0 within the Moonlet Mobile App. Instead, we are focusing on hardware wallet users, who can now migrate and stake their ZIL through our secure, self-custodial staking dashboard at stake.moonlet.io.

What This Means for You:​

  • If you use a Ledger device with the Moonlet mobile app, you can migrate and stake your ZIL directly using our dashboard stake.moonlet.io. This process is secure, intuitive, and fully supported.

  • If you're managing your ZIL with a secret phrase or mnemonic inside the Moonlet mobile app, you’ll need to manually migrate your funds using another wallet that supports the Zilliqa 2.0 network. Compatible wallets include:

    • MetaMask

    • Phantom

    • Torch

    • ZilPay

    • Zillet

    • Atomic Wallet

    • Guarda

Important Security Notice. If you use a secret phrase or mnemonic:​

  • Make sure you back it up securely and privately.

  • Never share your secrets with anyone.

  • Beware of social scams and phishing attempts.

  • Only rely on official announcements from Zilliqa and verified channels.

  • Moonlet will never ask for your secret phrase.

We understand this may cause some inconvenience, but this decision is based on our goal to offer a more secure, reliable staking experience with hardware wallets and industry-standard tools. The broader Zilliqa ecosystem now offers multiple trusted wallet solutions that support both the legacy and 2.0 networks.
