Connect Your Solana Wallet to Moonlet
Moonlet’s self-custodial dashboard lets you stake, monitor rewards, and manage delegations on Solana without ever giving up your private keys.
You can connect with either a browser wallet (Phantom) or a Ledger hardware wallet.
1 · What You Need
Requirement | Why It Matters |
---|---|
Supported wallet | Phantom ≥ v1.0, Ledger Nano S/S+/X/Flex/Stax with the Solana app |
Modern browser | Chrome, Brave, Edge (Chromium) or Firefox |
Small SOL balance | Each on-chain action (stake, split, withdraw) costs ~0.000005 – 0.00001 SOL |
2 · Connect a Browser Wallet (Phantom)
-
Install & set up the extension
-
Create or import your seed phrase.
-
Fund the wallet with a little SOL for fees.
-
-
Open https://stake.moonlet.io and choose Solana in the network selector.
-
Click Connect Wallet → Browser Wallet.
Your extension (Phantom) will prompt for approval. -
Approve the connection (“Connect” → “Approve”).
🔒 Moonlet receives only your public address and ability to request signatures—never your seed phrase.
-
Your wallet address and SOL balance now appear in the dashboard header.
You’re ready to delegate stake or manage existing stake accounts.
3 · Connect a Ledger Hardware Wallet
Required versions
• Ledger firmware ≥ 2.1
• Solana app ≥ v1.3.10
-
In Ledger Live → Manager, install or update the Solana app.
-
On the device, open the Solana app.
-
(Recommended) App Settings → Blind signing = Enabled to avoid “unknown operation” errors.
-
Visit https://stake.moonlet.io → Connect Wallet → Ledger.
-
Select the default derivation path (
m/44'/501'/0'/0'
) and confirm the address on Ledger. -
Your Ledger SOL balance appears; all stake transactions will require on-device approval.
4 · Troubleshooting
Symptom | Fix |
---|---|
Wallet popup never appears | Disable pop-up blockers; verify the site is https. |
Ledger not detected | Use Chrome WebUSB/WebHID; close Ledger Live or enable “Ledger Live bridge” if using MetaMask passthrough. |
“Signature rejected” on Ledger | Ensure Blind signing is Enabled in the Solana app. |
Insufficient SOL for fees | Transfer ≥ 0.01 SOL from an exchange or other account |
5 · FAQ
Question | Answer |
---|---|
Can I connect multiple Solana wallets? | Yes—disconnect the current wallet (avatar → Disconnect) and repeat the connection flow with another address. |
Does Moonlet ever hold my private key? | No. Browser wallets sign transactions locally; Ledger signs inside its Secure Element. Moonlet only receives signed payloads. |
Why do I see several stake accounts? | Solana creates a separate stake account for each delegation. Moonlet groups them so you can view rewards per validator. |
You’re all set! Head to the Stake tab to delegate SOL, monitor epoch rewards, or split/merge stake accounts—securely and self-custodially with Moonlet.
